Trip Home to California

10 days ago I flew home to California to help my mom recover from knee surgery. It was fun to be home with my parents and help out where I could. The highlight of the trip was when my parents took me to a 3-D ultrasound place. The lady took a 30 minute video of the baby and its movements! It is so neat to sit and watch it and know there is really a little person growing in there. She also took like 30 pictures but I am only going to post my favorites. It was hard to be away from Jake for almost a week, but it was fun to spend time with family. It was also good to hear how much Jake missed me and how bored he was without me. I had no idea I was so entertaining =) It is nice to be back home, although I very much enjoyed my trip back to Cali. Another highlight was seeing my beautiful nieces Elissa and Emma. They are such loving and fun little girls. Ooooo, another highlight was my sister-in-giving me a massage! She is taking a massage therapy course and needed some practice hours. I was definitely willing to sacrifice some time to help her out, hehe. One low light is my parents had a bit of a cold while I was there and a few days ago I came down with it. It's no fun being sick!
