I need to write down some things Hannah has said before I forget. This past Saturday Hannah shocked us all with her ability to communicate. Saturday morning I was nursing Hannah and she stopped. When she does that she usually takes a short second break and comes back for more. So I asked her, "Hannah, are you done?" And she responded "Done" and turned away from me onto her back. She then realized that daddy was laying in bed next to her, turned to him and said "Dada". Pretty amazing stuff for a 7 month old if you ask me, but she didn't stop there. The final kicker was later that day when Jake was in the living room with Hannah. She started to fuss I bit so he stood her up on his lap. She looked over at the couch next to them and on it was a big green ball (one of her new favorite toys). She saw the ball and said "ball!". Jake couldn't quite believe his ears and asked her if she wanted the ball. She then started doing this hand thing where she opens and closes them really fast when she wants something, so he gave it to her and all was well. Yesterday she decided to show off her skills once more. She was playing on the floor with her phone and I said "Who are you calling Hannah? Are you calling Grandma? Say Hi Grandma." And she started waving the phone around toward her head and said "Hiyo". Could she get anymore precious? We have a baby Einstein on our hands.
Before I add some recent pictures I just wanted to give a shout out to my amazing husband. Almost every night right before we put Hannah down Jake walks around our bedroom with her picking up the pictures in our room and telling Hannah about who is in the picture and how much they love her. For instance "Do you know who this is Hannah? This is mommy and daddy when they got married. They love you so so so much." As I was listening to him do this last night I thought about how blessed I am to have a husband who loves being a father. He seriously cannot get enough of his "Little Princess". I love watching him with her. It amazes me how much he loves her and I am so grateful to have both of them in my life.
The other day I was picking her up out of her Bumbo Seat and her bum was stuck in it. I had to take a picture. We need to put this girl on a diet :-) J/k, we like em cute and chunky.
I thought she looked so old and mature in this picture. We love going to the water park. Hannah is so happy and relaxed in the water.
She gets pretty relaxed in her bouncer too. She likes to rest for a minute and then....
..she goes back to being all happy and energetic.
I love the look on her face in this picture.
We went to a branch swim party and had fun in the pool. The water was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g but we still had fun. This was me inching both her and I into the water as we gradually got used to it.
And this was the result. She fell asleep in my arms part way in the water. Almost every time we are in a pool she falls asleep.
Jake attacking his daughter. He loves munching on those little (big) cheeks.
Awwww, precious.
Hannah does not like to be snuggled unless she is tired. This is me trying to snuggle and that is her giving me the stiff arm in resistance.
She can have fun playing anywhere.

What a smart cookie!! She's amazing, and SOOOOO beautiful! You must be one proud mommy!
What fun pictures! That bouncer thing looks like a lot of fun. Seth doesn't say anything but "ahhhhhhhh" :)
For real that is super young to be saying that stuff! Looking back I think Zara was an early bloomer on most developmental things, and talking has been no exception- she talks a lot for her age- but I don't know if she was doing that stuff even at 7 months. What I'm saying is I am the parent of a genius and you may be the parent of a super genius.
haha, i LOVE the one with her bum stuck. so cute! she's getting so big!!
What a smartie pants!
